Infrared Suppressing Filters
IR Suppressing Filters are optimized for applications where standard hot mirrors fall short, combining two independent blocking mechanisms to achieve suppression depths neither could reach alone. Due to their absorption characteristics, these filters are optimized for low-to-moderate power applications with maximum operating temperatures not exceeding 100°C.
Together they deliver ≤0.1% average transmission from 750nm through 2000nm while maintaining ≥65% average visible transmission across the 425–650nm passband.
Each filter is engineered for low-to-moderate power environments, making them ideally suited for projection systems, surgical and dental lighting, photocopiers, and precision scientific instrumentation.
