IR Suppressing Filters extend the blocking capabilities of standard Hot Mirrors by employing both reflection from the dielectric stack and absorption from an IR absorbing filter glass.
This dual-action approach provides enhanced IR blocking range, making them ideal for applications requiring superior heat management.
Due to their absorption characteristics, these filters are optimized for low power applications with maximum operating temperatures not exceeding 100°C.
