Andover Corporation’s hard-coated narrowband filters are designed for applications that require precise wavelength isolation with long-term durability. Featuring magnetron sputtered, first-surface oxide coatings on borosilicate glass, these filters deliver narrow bandwidth performance with steep spectral transitions and excellent environmental stability.

Available in bandwidths as narrow as 10nm FWHM, these filters enable accurate separation of target wavelengths from surrounding spectral noise. This makes them especially effective in systems where signal clarity, measurement accuracy, or laser line discrimination is critical.

Unlike absorptive designs, these all-dielectric filters provide high peak transmission and OD4 blocking with sharp cutoffs, ensuring clean spectral performance without sacrificing throughput. Their hard-coated construction also allows them to maintain performance in high-temperature and demanding operating environments.

Standard offerings cover wavelengths from 334nm to 1550nm, including many common laser and analytical lines, and are mounted in protective black anodized aluminum rings for ease of integration.
