Cryolite Evaporation Material

Cryolite Evaporation Material
Andover Corporation has a surplus of Naturally Mined Cryolite.
Cryolite forms highly transparent thin films. Thanks to its extended range of transparency, it can be used for coatings from the UV to the IR wavelength range.
Cryolite is a broadband, low index coating material. It has been traditionally used in visible filters from the UV to Near Infrared. It offers a large index contrast to a range of mid and high index oxides. Cryolite is evaporated using thermal heating with little or no absorption.
Cryolite is evaporation ready and will be sold in two volumes 0.5Kg and 1.0Kg. Cryolite is a great low index material perfect for the creation of interference filters and A/R coatings.
